Cloudflare announced today that its Zero Trust Access platform is now available at no cost for businesses with fewer than 50 employees, a move aimed at democratizing enterprise-grade security for small organizations.
The free tier includes secure web gateway functionality, DNS filtering, identity-aware application access, and device posture checking. It supports integration with popular identity providers including Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and Okta.
Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince stated that small businesses face the same threats as large enterprises but lack the budgets and expertise to defend themselves, making this offering both a business development strategy and a public service initiative.
