Palo Alto Networks has launched Cortex XSIAM 3.0, an AI-driven security operations center automation platform that claims to reduce mean time to respond from hours to minutes. The system ingests data from across an organization's security stack and uses machine learning to correlate alerts, assess severity, and initiate response playbooks autonomously.
In controlled testing environments, XSIAM 3.0 resolved 68% of common alert types without human intervention, freeing analysts to focus on complex investigations. The platform also includes a natural language query interface that allows non-technical staff to investigate security events using plain English questions.
